Minis Success in Guildford/Farnham Triangular

The Minis Section took part in a Triangular with local rivals Guildford RFC and Farnham RFC on Sunday.

Effingham U11s were unbeaten in four A and B fixtures conceding only one try in the process.

Effingham U12s,who have only conceded one festival try all season,  also ended the day with both A and B sides unbeaten.

The U12s are holding a mid-season trial on Sunday 5th February in preparation for the start of festival season next month.

Rob Allan Memorial Match - 28 Apr 12

The 2012 Rob Allan Memorial match will take place on Saturday 28 Apr 12 (note date change!).  Although detailed planning has yet to take place, the format will probably be similar to last year's very successful and enjoyable inaugural event (details of which can be found here):

• Pre-match fund raising lunch for CRY, the Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS) charity supported by Rob's family.
• Eagles U18 (and friends) v Senior XV (all ages, shapes and sizes).
• Post-match BBQ and subsidised bar.

Just put this date in your diaries for now and further details will be released once the arrangements have been confirmed.
