Marcus Hughes-Hallett Sevens - 29 June

A reminder the Marcus Hughes-Hallett 7s Tournament is taking place on 29 June at ELRFC.  The format for the day is very relaxed with the emphasis on having a fun family day.

Proceedings start at 2pm with registration of any last minute players..!  There will be a BBQ and the bar will be open all day. 

All proceeds from the day will go to two local charities which work with youth in North Leatherhead through relationships and sport, and this summer they are taking a group to Romania to work with an orphanage there.  The charities are Leatherhead Youth Project (www.leatherheadyouthproject.com) and Liquid Connection (www.liquidconnection.co.uk).  There is also a Just giving site as well if that is more convenient www.justgiving.com/Marcus21st.

Players of all shapes, sizes and ages over 17 are welcome and teams hopefully will reflect this.  That said if any of any younger age groups are interested we can organise special tournaments just for you.  Please let me know we will be happy to accommodate.  We will be playing on half size pitches with 5 min each way halves..!! So anyone can play.

I have a lot of people say they will play and/or turn up, but we are getting to the stage where we need to have some clarity of numbers so please can you email me to  let me know if you are interested in playing or just turning up and enjoying the day.  That way we can help John and Sue plan the catering.  My email address is paul.lazarevic1@gmail.com.
