Effingham U16s - 2011/2012

The squad is trained by RFU qualified coaches who put a strong emphasis on building fitness, speed, agility, coordination and developing core rugby skills. The squad is totally inclusive and we welcome new and existing players of all abilities. Our goal is to build a large squad of over 50 players that will enable us to maintain two teams within the Surrey Divisions whilst providing development opportunities for players who are new to the game or learning new positions.

In addition to league and friendly fixtures against other Surrey clubs, we organise matches against teams from neighbouring counties including Hampshire, Sussex and Middlesex. Fixtures are interspersed with coaching sessions on Sunday mornings (12:00 to 14:00hrs) and Thursday evenings (19:00-20:15hrs) both at KGV, Effingham.

We encourage an active social programme, participating in Club activities and organising our own events where the tour is the highlight of the season.
