Effingham & Leatherhead RFC News
U13's A's Undefeated Champions Surrey Sweet Chariot League 2
25th April 2010
Effingham U13 A squad faced a strong Warlingham team today at Browns field, in front of a large crowd in the top of league 2 decider.
Effingham came out victorious with a convincing 28-5 win over Warlingham who played some strong up front rugby, the game was played in the fine spirit of rugby with all the boys from both teams putting on a real spectacle battling hard, but Effingham began to dominate the play.
It was nice to see many parents and coaches from other local clubs who came along to watch the game.
A huge achievement for the Effingham U13's A squad to have won every game this season not only in the league but in all friendlies played.
Congratulations boys.
U12s A & B Surrey Champions
24th April 2010
Congratulations to the U12s who were victorious in both the A & B Surrey championships! The C squad also performed strongly taking 3rd place in the C championship.
What a fantastic end to the season and the journey through mini rugby for the U12s.
Improving Club Membership Records and Internal Communications
14th April 2010
We at the club are taking the first steps to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of both our membership process/records and our internal communications - which will obviously be to the benefit of all our club members.
One of the first things we must do is determine how best to meet the needs of our club members. To help achieve this we have created an on-line questionnaire which we are asking all our club members to complete. This questionnaire is short (just nine questions) and should only take a few minutes to complete and your answers will be anonymous if you choose not to enter your name and email address.
The questionnaire can be opened here.
Thank you for your support in helping improve our membership process/records and internal communications.
Rob Allan

It is with the greatest regret that the club announces that Rob Allan died peacefully in his sleep on the night of 21 Mar 10. On behalf of all players and club members we offer our deepest sympathies to Mike, Jane and family.
