Match Reports | Our Opponents  

Training will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Clubhouse from 19.30 onwards unless otherwise specified.

Normally all members selected to play for a Saturday match will be notified by not later than the previous Wednesday, but probably by Tuesday. Be sure to inform the Team Secretary immediately if you are unable to play. If however, you have not been notified by Wednesday, contact the Team Secretary without delay.

Insurance

The Club insures players through a scheme administered by the Rugby Football Union. Details of the scheme are to be seen on the Club notice board or may be obtained from the Secretary. It provides for a lump sum to be paid on death or permanent disablement resulting from a rugby game. It does not cover loss of earnings resulting from an injury. A Club Policy of that sort would necessitate a huge increase in the subscription. If your employer would not pay during an absence from work caused by an injury sustained on the rugby pitch you are strongly advised to make your own provision. Insurance to cover this situation is not expensive.
